Asmongold says he does not want to play console games again after struggling with a controller during the new Star Fox on Switch 2. He framed the issue as a long-running difficulty with fine motor control, while saying an Ocarina of Time remake would be his one planned exception.
According to Dexerto’s report, the Twitch streamer nearly lowered the difficulty during the final Star Wolf fight before eventually finishing the game and beating Andross with very little health remaining. The moment became less about the game itself and more about how uncomfortable he said controller play feels for him.
Asmongold also described past problems with fine motor tasks in school, though that remains a self-reported personal claim rather than independently verified medical information. For coverage, the safer takeaway is his stated platform preference: he wants to stick to PC and may look for keyboard-and-mouse options where possible.
For the streaming audience, the comments raise a broader accessibility question. If major console releases remain tied to traditional controllers, creators and players with different input needs may continue to rely on workarounds rather than built-in flexibility.
