Barcelona have unveiled their 2026-27 away kit as the next release in their collaboration with Kobe Bryant’s signature brand. The shirt uses a black-and-purple look with gold detailing and places the Mamba logo on the chest instead of the usual Nike mark.
The design continues several ideas from the previous Barça x Mamba Mentality away kit, including colours associated with Bryant’s Lakers career. The shirt also features a snakeskin-influenced knit pattern, an iridescent club crest with a textured finish, and a gradient that moves from black into purple.
Barcelona’s presentation links the kit to Bryant’s well-known sporting mindset, built around ambition, concentration and high standards. A motivational Bryant message is also included inside the collar, adding a more personal detail to the collaboration.
The launch arrives with Barcelona’s profile high after the club supplied eight players to Spain’s 2026 World Cup-winning squad, including final match-winner Ferran Torres. For supporters, the debate may be whether this crossover feels like a meaningful identity piece or another example of football kits becoming global lifestyle products.
