Bosnia and Herzegovina beat Qatar 3-1, K. Alajbegovic opens the scoring and E. Mahmić adds another in the 80th minute

In the third round of the 2026 World Cup group stage, Bosnia and Herzegovina beat Qatar 3-1. The scoring swings came mostly in the middle and late stages of the first half: Bosnia and Herzegovina led from the 29th minute, extended the margin through an own goal in the 34th minute, Qatar responded in the 42nd minute, and Bosnia and Herzegovina went into halftime up 2-1.

Fathi was shown a yellow card in the 78th minute, and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Ermin Mahmić received a yellow card in the 82nd minute. The scoreline stayed unchanged after that, and Bosnia and Herzegovina closed out the match 3-1.
